Compliance Officer

Clackamas Campus

 

We're looking for a detail oriented individual to take over the day-to-day duties of our Compliance department. 

 

Responsibilities:

·         Create and administer reports.

·         Analyze information and create reports based on that information.

·         Administer faculty files.

·         Responsible for coordination and preparation of reports for regulatory agencies.

·         Communication with regulatory agencies.

·         Complete new and revised program applications.

·         Maintain files on all program and course approvals.

·         Will be required to keep current on any applicable laws and regulations.

 

Qualifications:

·         A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field along with a minimum of five years experience dealing with the public in a customer service capacity.

·         Must be detail-oriented, accurate and have good research skills.

·         Have a thorough working knowledge of the operations and administration of the College.

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.

·         Able to maintain confidentiality.

·         Must be an Excel super-user and be able to use Word effectively.

·         Extensive CampusVue experience preferred.

·         Experience with compliance at a for-profit institution preferred.

Medical Assisting Instructor - full time & part time
HCI and Clackamas Campuses

 

Would you like to share your expertise to help train future Medical Assistants? We’re looking for experienced, enthusiastic health professionals to be part of our team. If you’d like a flexible position that allows you to make a difference in students’ lives, this position may be for you.  Some of the job duties include:

  • Teach classes to meet established course objectives
  • Participate in team meetings and training
  • Collaborate with other instructors
  • Maintain accurate attendance and grade records 

We offer day and evening classes, Monday through Thursday. Adjunct instructors are hired on a term-by-term basis. Previous teaching experience is a plus but not required.

Radiologic Technologist - Adjunct Instructor
Health Career Institute Campus

The Pioneer Pacific College Limited X-ray program is designed to prepare motivated students to work in the health industry.  If you’d like to take on a new challenge and share your knowledge, read on!

 

Qualifications

You must have your Oregon State and ARRT license in good standing for at least one year in order to be considered.  We’re looking for someone who has the ability to motivate and creatively teach Radiation physics in simple terms while explaining about positioning and pathology. 

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Teach lecture and laboratory sections.
  • Grade student’s work and update grading database.
  • Evaluate and advise students.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Oregon State and ARRT license in good standing for a minimum of 1 year.
  • Field experience.
  • Have excellent communication skills.
  • Work well with students, faculty and staff.

Electronics Engineering Program Director

We are starting a new Electronics Engineering program and need someone to set up and administer the program.  The Program Director ensures academic integrity, quality of instruction, student satisfaction and daily supervision of instructional activity.

 

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree (Masters preferred) in Electronics Engineering and at least 5 years of related experience.
  • Experience leading or setting up a similar program is needed.
  • Demonstrated teaching skills and the ability to effectively teach adult learners.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills.

Duties:

  • Instruct classes as scheduled.
  • Follow the recommended course schedule to complete terminal performance objectives.
  • Maintain current syllabi of courses taught according to present standards. 
  • Participate in the PN Faculty Meetings as scheduled.
  • Collaborate with the PN Program Director frequently.
  • Maintain and post weekly office hours for student contact.
  • Turn in daily attendance records by the end of classes each day.
  • Keep record of each student’s progress in each course taught.
  • Actively follow up on attendance and academic issues.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 2-3 years experience

looking for someone to lead our Practical Nursing department.

 

Qualifications

  • Able to effectively lead and manage faculty and students.
  • Successful candidates will have a demonstrated ability to communicate challenging material effectively, creatively and with enthusiasm. 
  • Must have a Master’s degree in Nursing and be currently licensed in Oregon.
  • Four years of Nursing experience is needed in which at least two years are in a teaching or administrative position in a Nursing education program.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively manage the Practical Nursing program within the required guidelines while ensuring compliance with academic, regulatory and fiduciary requirements.
  • Conduct all management functions and direct supervision within their program which includes hiring new employees, new employee orientations, staff development, performance evaluations and discipline.
  • Regularly conduct departmental meetings as well as individual meetings with each faculty member.
  • Teach courses as scheduled.
  • Act as a liaison with the Oregon State Board of Nursing.
  • Ensure clinical and preceptorship placements.
